We get a high volume of emails, but you will actually get a faster, more accurate (and quite possibly cheaper) quote if you email us rather than call.  We have limited office staff to take calls, so you will likely get voicemail if you call us.  However, if you email, Carina or another Quote Specialist at Joe's Landscaping Supplies can quickly send you a written price quote. 

Please do not email us and call us for the same price quote thinking you will get a quote faster this way.  This is double work for both of us, causes confusion and will delay your quote.

Please note: price quotes given can change at any time depending on market conditions, fuel prices, supply/demand, wholesale increases, inflation, labor supply or many other factors that we do not control.  We will honor written (email) price quotes that we give you as long as we can but prices can change without notice.  Quotes that we email you have a good chance of also being cheaper than if you call to get a price quote.

For verbal quotes (given over the phone), we will honor them for an order that you place that day only (or for as long as we can remember!).   That is why it is in your best interest to email us to receive a written quote.

For a price quote, you must provide the following information:

• Your full name--We need to know both your first and last name!

• Exact delivery address (including city and zip)--With the new sales tax streaming law that has gone into effect, simply giving us your zip code or city does not give us enough information to determine your tax rate.  We need to know your exact address to determine the sales tax rate.  Plus, we get really bad fuel mileage in our dump trucks, so we will likely quote you a higher price for delivery of your material if we don't know the exact address and you say something like "I live in Bellevue" or "I'm in zip code 98155" or "I live in the Northgate area" etc.  Doing this can cause us to add $5-20 onto your quote to account for the uncertainty of not knowing the exact delivery address.  Please provide the exact, full address or beware!!

• Two contact numbers (home and cell)--We promise that we will not call you unless we have questions about your price quote that you did not make clear in your request.  Calling you involves more time and work.  We are far too busy.  We have ZERO interest in selling your private number(s) to anybody else or creating some marketing list.  Our business is landscaping supplies, not telemarketing. The only reason we need your numbers is that, if you decide to order, we will call you to set up a delivery time/date and having your numbers with the rest of your information saves both you and Joe's Landscaping Supplies staff time.  Note, please do not give us your work number unless you plan to get a delivery there during your work hours.  We need a number that we can reach you in the evening as that is usually when we call to set up delivery times and or confirm for the next day's deliveries (if you have placed an order).

• The specific product you want-- (ie. Medium Beauty Bark). Please specify the exact product with the exact name we use on our website so that we are are absolutely sure what material you want a quote for or that you want delivered to you.  Take a look at the products that we offer on this website and note the exact name that we call them and use that exact name when you are referring to that product.  There is a lot of confusion out there amoung customers and a big reason for it is because of the terminology.  What are the two biggest terminology/confusion problems we have?  Many people email us for a quote on "mulch" or "gravel".  Both of the terms "mulch"  and "gravel" are very general and apply to a number of materials that we sell, so telling us you are interested in "mulch" or "gravel" is like going up to an ice cream counter and not specifying what flavor you want.  See what the specific products are named on our website and use that name only.  Feel free to email us with any questions that you may have too.  We're here to help!!!

• The specific quantity--For example, ask us for a quote for 12 yards, not 10-12 yards or "a truckload".  Since our prices depend on how many yards you buy and the delivery location, the price per yard for 8 yards, for example, may be different than the price per yard for 9 yards.  When you say "I need a truck load" , this does us absolutely no good.  We have different sized trucks that can carry different amounts of material based on volume or weight.  Prior to emailing us, please determine how much material (in cubic yards) you want to order.  Go to the HOW MUCH DO I NEED? page on this website to get help.

We determine our prices based on the information above, so we'll have to email or call you back to get this information if you forget or neglect to provide it, causing delays.  So......please be prepared!
