Payment We Accept
Joe's Landscaping Supplies accepts cash (preferred) and good checks at the time of delivery. Our drivers carry a limited amount of change so please take that into consideration. Delivery orders over $500 require cash or a cashiers check as payment. You or your designee must be on site for delivery and to pay the driver (unless something else is prearranged).
Advanced payment is allowed by mailing the entire payment to us so that it arrives at least 1 day prior to your delivery date. This must be prearranged.
Payment Due at Delivery
Payment is due at the time of delivery. If you can't be there, you must get a friend, relative, neighbor or contractor to pay the delivery driver for the order. In very limited circumstances, we have arranged for customers to place payment under a doormat or under their favorite rock in cases where they cannot be on site. However, this must be prearranged and agreed upon.
There is a $15 additional charge for payment not received at the time of delivery (prior arrangements and credit approval/authorization is required).
Returned Check Policy
There is a $45 charge for all returned checks, including non sufficient fund (NSF) checks. Joe's Landscaping Supplies is charged by the bank for this along with an administrative fee for processing, fund acquisition and recovery.
Lien against your property
We have or will provide professional services, materials, or equipment for the improvement of your commercial or residential property. Under Washington State Law, those who furnish labor, professional services, materials or equipment for the repair, remodel or alteration of your residence and who are not paid, have the right to enforce their claim for payment against your property.We expect to be paid by the person who ordered our services and/or materials but if we are not paid, we have the right to enforce our claim by filing a construction lien against your property. You can learn more about lien laws and the meaning of this notice by discussing them with your contractor, suppliers, Department of Labor & Industries, the company sending you this notice, your lender or your attorney.
Payment of Multiple load Deliveries
If your order requires us to make multiple trips to your delivery address, you can pay for your order a number of ways:
By paying for the entire order at the time of the first delivery trip
By paying the fully allocated rate for each delivery trip and then paying the residual for the last trip. For example, you order 12 yards of Crushed Rock and the price quote we give you for it is $38 per yard. We deliver 6 yards to you on the first trip. At that time, you would pay the fully allocated rate of $44 per yard for 6 yards as this is how much we would charge you if you only ordered 6 yards. Then for the 2nd trip. when we deliver the 6 remaining yards, you would pay $32 per yard. For the entire 12 yard purchase, it averages out to be $38 per yard.

Cancellation Fees
There is a $25 cancellation charge if you cancel at any time for any reason after you have placed an order with us. If we do not hear from you or are unable to contact you at the numbers you have provided prior to delivery (usually we try to reach you the evening before your scheduled delivery), your order will be cancelled or rescheduled and cancellation/rescheduling charges will apply. If you cancel or reschedule your delivery order within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery day (or the day you said you were available to receive a delivery) or we cannot reach you at the contact numbers you provided, you will be billed a $75 cancellation/rescheduling fee.
We have a considerable amount of time, labor and other overhead expenses invested in you before and after you have placed an order. We are serious about providing you with high quality landscaping materials and service so we want you to be serious about it too! If you are not sure you want to order our products or want to do more comparison shopping or whatever, please do not place an order. We want you to be ready for us!
Cancellation charges are used to help us to recover expenses we have already incurred due to manpower scheduling, delivery route planning, pre-ordering and pre-purchasing of product from our wholesale partners (if applicable), administrative costs, other overhead costs, and to into account we likely declined other sales at the same time that we reserved for your delivery.
An additional 85% restocking charge and $100 delivery charge will apply if we have already loaded the material that you ordered in our dump truck at the time you cancel or reschedule. There is a late fee of $50 added to all charges that we do not receive payment for within 10 days of the scheduled delivery day or of cancellation.
Due to the nature of the products that we sell and the considerable expense to get them to you, there are no refunds on Joe's Landscaping products, delivery charges or other fees.
We are absolutely confident that our products are of the highest quality and are as good or better than what our competitors offer. If you are not absolutely sure about what you are ordering, ask us for more information before we deliver it to you. We can also send you actual or representation pictures of our materials/products.
If you are still unsure, we suggest you go to one of our competitors that may have a Landscaping materials yard near you so that you can see what they have, hold it in your hands and examine it before you buy it from them or us (you can see their stuff and still buy it from us!). However, once you order it from us and we deliver it to you, it is yours and we will expect payment.
