By placing an order with Joe's Landscaping Supplies, you agree to the following Terms of Agreement as well as all of the policies on the pages of our website including the following pages: Delivery Guidelines, Payment/Cancellations/Refunds. 

Please read them carefully and if you have any questions feel free to ask us.  We're friendly, considerate, nice people and we have many of these policies in place to ensure that our customers are friendly, considerate, nice people too!  If you're not, please go away to one of our competitors. 

Site Photos

All Photos on this site are actual or represented photos of the products that Joe's Landscaping Supplies sells and delivers.  There is no guarantee that your product will look exactly the same as the photos on this site or that we provide you because:

• the color may vary depending upon the originating source of the material
• product consistency and color shades may change over time
• color shades may be slightly different depending on the time of the year that the material is processed and sold to you
• materials may have changed in appearance as inventory changes throughout the year.
• The image may be low or poor quality and not accurately show the material as it appears close up or in real life.
• Rock, bark or topsoil shades can differ with each batch of material and it is not possible for us to take a picture and post every possible color shade.

To ensure that, for example, the rock, beauty bark or topsoil shade or look is the same for your entire order, it is very important that you order all the rock, bark or topsoil you will need to complete the job at one time since we cannot guarantee color matching if ordered at a later date.

About the delivery dump truck

We have 3 different sized dump trucks.  Our dump trucks require at least 10' of clearance width, and are up to about 25' long.  When the dump boxes are dumped, they extends 14'-18' in the air.  Make sure that low hanging branches or wires will not be dangerous, damaging or life threatening by having them clipped, trimmed, cut down (or in the case of low hanging wires find an alternate location for dumping your materials before we arrive).  Have an alternative location picked out for us to dump materials if your original location is not big enough or too tight of a fit for a mid size dump truck.  The dump trucks weigh 10,300-28,400 lbs empty and when fully loaded (depending on the product) weigh 22,000-55,000lbs.  You should have an alternate location picked out where you know our trucks can fit and where we can dump your materials just in case our truck cannot fit into the space you originally planned to have the materials dumped is not accessible.  Once we arrive at your address, you will be charged for the products in the truck + delivery regardless if you have a place to dump them or if we can fit into the space you have provided. 

Please be prepared for our arrival

Please ensure all vehicles and other items are cleared from the pathway of the dump truck and sufficient space is provided to dump the material prior to our arrival.  

After 10 minutes at the delivery address, a standby charge of $90 per hour (with a $10 minimum charge) will be applied to your bill if the driver must wait for you to arrive, clear the area or to receive payment. 

Contact neighbors the day before delivery to coordinate moving vehicles or other belongings.  Prepare the area and place tarps down before we arrive.  Cut bushes and/or branches that may block or impede the dump truck from dumping or moving in any way.  Move garbage cans or other debris out of the path of the dump truck prior to our arrival.  Have your payment ready.

You must be present at the time of delivery

We want to emphasize to you that time is extremely precious to us, both from a business standpoint and personal standpoint for our drivers. 

Customers who are not present at the delivery address when the delivery driver arrives (requiring the driver to wait) or if the driver must wait to receive payment, will be assessed a $90 per hour standby charge (with an automatic $10 minimum charge added to the invoice). 

This charge will be applied directly to the invoice at the time.  Please be respectful of our time and the time of our other customers.  If you cause a delay, you are delaying deliveries or possibly excluding  deliveries to customers after you.  

If we arrive at the delivery address and cannot make contact with you within 10 minutes, the driver will return to our yard where an 85% restocking charge will apply to the materials you ordered.  A $100 delivery charge will also apply.  In addition, if the order is canceled, a $75 cancellation fee will apply.

Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy

To recover expenses we have already incurred due to manpower scheduling, delivery route planning, pre-ordering and pre-purchasing of your product from wholesalers, administrative costs and to account for the fact that we may have declined other sales during the time that we reserved for your delivery, if you cancel or reschedule your delivery order:

• Within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery day, you will be billed a $75 cancellation/rescheduling fee
• Cancellations at all other times for any reason after you have placed an order, you will be billed a $25 charge.
• An 85% restocking charge and $100 delivery charge will apply if we have already loaded the material in our dump truck at the time you cancel or reschedule. 

Returned Check Policy

There is a $45 charge for all returned checks, including non sufficient fund (NSF) checks.  Joe's Landscaping Supplies is charged by the bank for this along with an administrative expense for processing, fund acquisition and recovery.

Lien against your property

We have or will provide professional services, materials, or equipment for the improvement of your commercial or residential property.  Under Washington State Law, those who furnish labor, professional services, materials or equipment for the repair, remodel or alteration of your residence and who are not paid, have the right to enforce their claim for payment against your property.  We expect to be paid by the person who ordered our services and/or materials but if we are not paid, we have the right to enforce our claim by filing a construction lien against your property.  You can learn more about lien laws and the meaning of this notice by discussing them with your contractor, suppliers, Department of Labor & Industries, the company sending you this notice, your lender or your attorney.

Towing or other damage

You are responsible for all towing charges if our equipment should get stuck due to the request for delivery inside the curb line or on private property.  It is expensive to get a dump truck towed. 

• The towing company will charge you about $165 per hour beginning from when the tow truck is dispatched. 
• Joe's Landscaping Supplies will charge you $90 per hour beginning after 10 minutes at the delivery address for the lost use of our truck ($500 maximum per day). 

Any damage to private property, Joe's Landscaping supplie's dump truck or other equipment incurred due to delivery inside the curb line and/or on private property shall be the sole responsibility of the customer. 

Joe's Landscaping Supplies is not responsible for cracked or broken curbs, sidewalks, driveways, damage to vegetation, grass, fencing, building structures, underground septic systems, sprinklers systems, drainage pipes, or anything for that matter.  Even if the driver agrees to deliver on private property or inside the curb line, YOU are still responsible.

Provide a reliable contact number

A Joe's Landscaping Supplies representative must be able to reach the you by telephone just prior to delivery to confirm that you or your designee will be present to receive the order.  A Joe's Landscaping Supplies representative will typically call 30-120 minutes before the scheduled delivery time. 

If you or your designee do not answer or we reach voice mail, your delivery may be delayed or even canceled for the day and rescheduled for another date.  See the Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy above.

This may result in an additional delivery charge of $100 and an 85% restocking charge if we have already loaded our truck.  For this reason, you must provide a reliable number that you can be reached at prior to delivery.

Refunds

Due to the nature of the products that we sell and the considerable time and expense to get them to you, there are no refunds on Joe's Landscaping products, delivery charges or other fees.

We are absolutely confident that our products are of the highest quality and are as good or better than what our competitors offer.  If you are not absolutely sure about what you are ordering, ask us for more information before we deliver it to you.  We can also send you pictures of our products. 

If you have to, we suggest you pay a higher price and buy your materials from one of our competitors so that you can see what they have, hold it in your hands and examine it before you buy it from them.  Once you order it from us and we deliver it to you, it is yours and we will expect payment.

Use of dump truck

We are glad to help you out and make your life a little easier by dumping your materials where you want them but we only have a limited amount of time to do so.  Deliveries requiring frequent moves and/or positioning of the delivery dump truck in order to dump the materials may be assessed a $10 charge after 10 minutes at the delivery address.

Our Low Price Guarantee

We don't have a low price guarantee, although we try to quote you the lowest price right from the start.  Usually the total price for your order delivered is at least $10-$80 cheaper than our competitors after they add their material costs, delivery charges, fuel charges, taxes, environmental fees and other charges to their bill. 

We encourage you to shop around and email us if you get a cheaper quote for the same product, and amount delivered to you.  E-mail us with:

• The name of the company
• Company contact information (phone number and address)
• Product you received the quote for
• Amount (in yards) you received the quote for 
• The total dollar amount of the quote including delivery and tax

In the spirit of competition, we will attempt to undercut or at least match their quote.  If we can, great.   If we can't...no hard feelings.  We are just happy that you visited us and hope you'll visit us the next time you need high quality landscaping materials.
