**Beginning 15 minutes before closing time, there is a $20 overtime surcharge added to all picked up orders.  Please arrive early, pay, self load or get loaded early to avoid this charge by arriving to the store at least 30 minutes or more before closing.  There is a $20 surcharge added to all orders loaded after 3:45 pm Wed-Sat or after 12:45 pm on Sun.  We close the store promptly at 4pm and 1pm respectively so that we can get to our scheduled deliveries on time or even better to get home to our loved ones on time.  Please be respectful of this!

Please completely fill out/send us the Quote Form from this website to get information and save the most on quotes that we give you.  You can also email us -- but don't do both.

You can email us any time 24/7/365 with questions, to get a quote, or to place an order.  Email quotes@877joebark.com  If you email and want to save $$ on the quote we give you, provide ALL of the following info in the FIRST email that you send us or just send us this form filled out:

1.  Full Name (first AND last)

2. Two contact numbers (evening/weekend/cell/home/spouse/partner).  No work numbers unless that is where we will be delivering to.

3. Exact delivery address including City/Zip

4. Exact material/product name (use exact name it is called on this website). If you say you want a quote for "gravel" or "mulch" we get really irritated and have to email back to you to be more specific because these are general terms and not specific products--so we'll probably add $10 onto your quote.

5. Exact # of cubic yards needed (don't give us ranges, or tell us you want a "truck load").  If you say you want a quote for 5-8 yards or a "truck load" we get really irritated too because it shows you have not done your homeworkk and you don't know how much you need.  Plus we give you a quote for the delivery of specific amounts not ranges or truck loads-- especially because we have 3 different size trucks and each material has a different weigh so that all plays a part in how much the delivery charge will be.--So we'll probably add $10 onto your quote.

3.  Call us- (not suggested)  

• Pros- you get an immediate response if you're in a big hurry for a quote or a delivery.  
• Cons- it costs us $$ to talk with you on a toll free number so we pass this cost onto you.  This results in you paying $5-$20 more on the quote we give you.
• If you place an order over the phone and then cancel, there is a $25-$255 cancellation charge (depending on circumstances, timing, and other factors).

Call us toll free at 1-877-JOE-BARK (1-877-563-2275) 7am-8pm any day.  This is actually the worst way to reach us, least reliable, and the toll free number costs us per minute to chat with you and give you prices so we pass these costs onto you!  

When you call, you will get a higher price quote so instead, fire up your computer/smartphone/laptop/notebook and send us this form , and completely filled it out to save some $$!  Please be advised that we are usually multi-tasking (to save you money) and are helping customers in the store, loading materials or driving a dump truck.  We are not always able to answer the phone so that is why completing our online form is best (refer to #1 above).

Delivery-

Delivery is offered any day, even the same day (if available) 7 days a week! However, we encourage customers to get deliveries of larger loads that require our big dump trucks (with a CDL driver) on a Friday (for rock orders) or the weekends for all other orders when we have more drivers working.

The price lists for materials picked up is only for materials that we have at our retail yard and that you pick up yourself.  

Most landscaping materials that we deliver are located at our retail yard and available for pick up, but some materials are considered as "Special Order."  You can special order material and most of the time we require that you have it delivered to you.  Pick up is not an option for most Special Order materials because we do not the have room at our landscape yard to store all Special Order materials, and because there is additional cost, time, labor and other resources needed to unload/reload Special Order materials.  

We have very competitive pricing.  We even deliver other companys' materials to you when they have minimums or do not deliver smaller quantities- and we do it cheaper than they would or could. That's right, we'll deliver their materials to you cheaper than they do!  Get a quote from them (for their material) and then get a quote from us and you'll see!  

We stock only the best quality landscaping materials at our yard-- and a huge variety.  The team at Joe's Landscaping Supplies prides itself on high quality materials and keeping all of the materials and supplies you need in stock at all times.  Even during the Covid 19 crisis with the supply chain interrupted, many of our wholesale suppliers closed, and periods of very high demand for materials, our team has worked very hard to keep in stock the extensive selection of materials and supplies that our customers love!!  We stocked up on materials in anticipation of a supply chain interruption, and during this crisis, we have paid much higher prices for materials (than normal times) so that our customers can leave our yard with their trucks and trailers full!   We haven't been in some card room making deals with mobsters or shady looking characters but instead we've been meating and dealing with wholesalers and loaders across the state, and sometimes driving very long distances, to ensure we stay stocked up with everything our customers want & need!

Do you have a smaller pickup truck or trailer ?  No problem!

By using a small piece of plywood (we provide) at the end of your tailgate, we can still dump material into your smaller truck or trailer and not have it fall out the back!



Prices--delivered

For the delivered cost of materials, we don't have a printed price list.  It is more like a complex algorithm or math problem and we don't want to put you througth that!  We also don't want to simplify it so much that we end up not giving you the lowest, best possible deal. There are so many variables that affect the cost of delivery such as:

• Your exact delivery address INCLUDING city and zip code affect delivery costs and sales tax rates that we have to charge.
• Type of material
• Day of the week you get it delivered.
• Quantity of material.
• Many more factors that affect the price for materials delivered. 

Delivered prices are not the same as the picked up prices for materials at our store.  They are different!!!   For a price quote on the delivery of any material on this website, please fill out our quote form located here and send it us.  We will promptly send you back a price quote and other helpful information. 

We personally answer, by giving a detailed quote, about 95% of all email quotes (from our quote form) within 2 hours.  If it takes us longer than 2 hours to get back to you (again, we usually get back to you within a few minutes) it is oftentimes because YOU did not fill out the quote form completey or at all (and just emailed us), did not provide enough information (such as your complete address including city and zip), were unclear on the exact material name (what is it called on our website?) or unclear on the quantity (you said you needed a "truckload" or "10-20 yards").  This ticks us off more than you know because your carelessness, lack of attention to detail, circumlocution (look it up) all costs me and my team what we value the most: TIME

Some of the least favorite things we get on the quote form that is sent to us, as an example, an ommitted or forgotten city and/or zip code, a last name, a desired quantity of "5-10 yards", and a material they want a quote for called "mulch". 

How the heck do we give a meaningful, low cost quote for somebody we don't know or can find (no last name), that we can't determine the sales tax rate for (no city or zip code), that we don't know how much they want (what size dump truck and/or how many trips their order will require).....and what the heck is "mulch"?  The last time I checked, "mulch" could be compost, manure, bark, aged sawdust or a combination of all or some of these materials! 

We aren't mind readers and we don't have all day to email people back and forth to pick their brains.  We have busy lives, kids, responsibilities, zero extra time.  At this time, we are not seeking new email friends either.

Do you know what we do when we recieve the quote request forms that are not complete, unclear or confusing?  We respond to another request first for somebody that filled out the form completely, was clear about how much material they wanted, and called the material the name we use on the website etc.

Then we answer the incomplete quote form last.  This usually requires us to email the customer and ask for additional information, look up incomplete adresses on the internet, do research, get clarification or make corrections.  When we do eventually give the customer a quote, we then, inconspicuously and most certainly, add an unspecified $$ amount to the quote over what we would normally charge somebody else.  This accounts for the extra time, hassle and trouble this person has caused us.  We believe in rewarding (with lower prices) those customers who follow directions, fill out the form completely, and generally make life easier for us.  The customers that are the opposite of this pay higher prices and subsidize the rule followers!  

If you want a quote for landscaping materials or supplies listed on our website, please fill out our easy form HERE and send it to us for a quote.   DO NOT call  or email us or inquire about products that we do not have listed on our website.  If you call and/or email us to inquire about landscaping materials or supplies not listed on our website we will give you one or all of the following answers:

1. We are not a directory service
2. We do not refer customers to our competitors
3. We don't know what the product is
4. We don't know where to get it
5. We don't give quotes for landscaping materials or supplies that are not listed on our website.  

It is extremely irritating when people email or call to ask about some product or matierial they are searching for and did not fine on our website.  There are 5 potential reasons listed above why it was not on our website and when you call or email it costs of both time and $$ to take your call or email (toll free numbers are not free for us).

If you choose not to use the quote form

You can also email us at the address below but it is more cumbersome, time consuming and expensive for us.  So just take an extra minute and use the form.  If you do not we'll pass the expense onto you.  Plus, it will usually take longer for you to get a response back from us (see above explanation) if you don't fill out our form.

• We accept cash, good personal/cashier's checks (no business or company checks accepted) and major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Discover).  We accept cash, cashier's check, or debit/credit only on some delivered materials including Wine/Whiskey barrels, Cedar Play Chips, RR Ties/Guardrail Posts, 1-Man Rock and Fill Dirt.  Cash discounted prices are available Mon-Sat only.  There is no cash discounted price on Sunday.  Sunday prices are regular ("rack rate") prices to account for employee overtime, lower customer volume and higher overhead costs.

• As a courtesy (and at your own risk), we'll load your truck in 1/2, 1, or 2  cubic yard increments with our wheel loader.  We are not responsible for damage that may result from loading your vehicle with our loader.  We do not load 1-Man Rock with our loader unless it is loaded into an approved, heavy duty reinforced truck/trailer with a strong bed.  You may hand load 1-Man Rock into your vehicle or trailer.  For small quantities, you can pick out the rock you like.  For delivery of 1-Man Rock, we load it with a loader into our dump truck but do not pick out individual rocks or sizes.  You can pick them out first if you like, set them aside, then we'll load them.  Loaded amounts are approximate and estimated or they are weighed on a scale to determine exactly how many tons (for determining the price).  1-Man Rock is the only material we sell by the ton.

• Note that there is a small surcharge added to all 1/2 yard loads (see the price list).  It is more cost effective (and we recommend) rounding your order to the next highest full yard.

• We love children but we suggest that they stay in your vehicle or attached to you as much as humanly possible when in our landscape retail yard.  There are a lot of large vehicles, a loader, and dump trucks moving around so children under 12 cannot be unattended.  Please carry them, hold their hands and/or keep them in your vehicle.
  

• We also sell all bulk landscaping materials including bark, topsoil, manure, compost, cedar playchips, and rock by the 5-gallon bucket.  This option is extremely popular with our customers.  They know that IF they are lucky enough to find landscaping materials sold in small bags, it costs $9, $10, or even $11-$20 and Joe's Landscaping Supplies typically charges $2-$7 for a 5-gallon bucket full (depending on the material).  A 5-gallon bucket full is when material is loaded 3" from the top rim (approximately).  FYI, it takes 40 5-gallon buckets to make 1 cubic yard (or 20 buckets to make 1/2 cubic yard).  Usually, if you need less than 1/2 yard, since we are unable to load and measure this small amount in our big wheel loader, we recommend that you purchase it in 5-gallon buckets.   More good advice.....bring your own buckets or bags (that you can dump the buckets into) and start shoveling!  P.S.  We do have empty 5-Gallon buckets ($6), Demo Bags ($5) and other bags for filling materials for sale, gloves ($5.95), shovels ($14.95), tarps ($18.95), and weed block ($18.95) if you forget them or need them for your project.  You can borrow our 5-gallon buckets at the yard to fill your vehicle or other containers with too.  You just can't borrow them and leave the yard with them (unless you buy them separately)!
