Coarse Bark Coarse Bark is 5″ minus particle size. It is bark that has not been ground up into smaller pieces. Coarse Bark is screened to 5″ minus particle size. It can be used as a top dressing like smaller sized bark, for muddy areas, dog runs, or more natural looking pathways. As a great alternative for muddy areas, you might also consider our Hog Fuel- Unprocessed Bark- Animal Friendly, which is the same thing as Coarse Bark, except it is even more coarse (approximately 12″ minus).
