Sand – Coarse Granulithic (Joe’s Buckshot)

This uniquely very coarse granulithic sand (approximately 1/8″ granule size) can be used for rototilling into heavy clay soils to facilitate drainage, mixing concrete, or under flagstone, pavers or bricks for creating patios and walkways. This is a good product to use in your firepit seating area. It is also used for children’s play areas. This would work great for pathways where you want to walk around barefoot.

This course sand is similar to pea gravel, but half the size.
