Our “reclaimed” Guard Rail Posts are the actual guard rail posts that were on our local highways. Occasionally the state has to replace whole sections of guard rail due to configuration changes in the roadway, accidents etc. We are able to buy and “reclaim” the posts and offer them to our customers. The posts are in great shape and they all have been pressure treated (to preserve them). The 6”x8” posts have a clear-coat treatment on the outside and the 8”x8” posts have a darker treatment that is similar to/the same as creosoted railroad ties. Guard Rail Posts come in two different dimensions and various lengths and they weigh 50-85 lbs (whereas a RR Ties weigh 100-200 lbs.).
We also have a very limited number of #2 grade guard rail posts that are various sizes and dimensions. #2 grade posts may be rough on 1-2 sides or have minor damage to part of the post. They sell for
$25 — cash discounted price (please inquire personally at landscape store/yard to check for availability—do not call/email as inventory changes too frequently.)
All Guard Rail Post are Self-Loading
Please come prepared to load guard rail post yourself or bring help along to assist you. We also have Safety/Protective Wear available for purchase too if you need, for example, gloves. We can help you pick out and load post (but only if we have staff available to do so). There is a $5 loading/handling charge per post to assist you in any way with the guard rail posts—and only if we have capable staff available to do so.
Delivery of Guard Rail Posts
We deliver guard rail posts too! The delivery charge depends on how many posts you order and your delivery address. All deliveries must be paid for in advance by cash (discounted) or by debit/credit. All delivered posts include a $5 loading/handling charge per post. Posts are delivered and dumped from a dump truck. We can also deliver posts other bulk materials such as bark, topsoil or crushed rock in different sized dump trucks (depending on the quantity of materials needed).
